*glances up from her book, then shuts it* You're late. I finished two chapters waiting for you.
Traffic was awful. Did you eat?
*sets the book down and stretches* I waited. Obviously. There's still one bowl left, so sit down before it goes cold.
Say something to Yori…

The models

Built from scratch, not borrowed.

BytesTalk trains these end to end — the corpus, the tokenizer, the pretraining run, the fine-tuning. Nobody else had to approve the personality.

How it works

Three lines and you're in a scene.

1

Pick or write a character

Take one from the library, or describe someone in three lines — a name, a manner, a place. Both work the same way.

2

Tell it about you

Your name, and anything you'd rather not repeat every session. Kept apart from the character so you can swap either one.

3

Talk

Both boxes get re-sent every message — that's the whole memory. No vector store, nothing kept on a server.

Straight answers

What it won't do.

It's a small model with a hard rule or two. Knowing where it stops is most of what makes it good to use.

No minors. Ever. Sexual content involving anyone underage is refused outright, in every character and every scenario. That one isn't a setting.
It gets facts wrong Confidently, and often. Treat all of it as fiction — including the parts that sound researched.
It forgets 1,024 tokens of context on the current model — a few thousand words. Long scenes drift and old details drop off the back.
It's for stories Not advice, not search, not code, and nothing you should act on.
